Few can dispute that in the past few years, great changes have affected worldwide society and local communities.Carbrooke has experienced demographic changes with an increase in housing stock and has moved away from being a small agricultural community in just a generation.
Carbrooke Heritage Group, have exciting plans to create a community record of life in Carbrooke 2023 which will coincide with a new era in Britain with the Coronation of King Charles.
We are excited to be working with Ben at Nimble. a video, photo and editing company from Dereham, to produce a documentary style film of the parish, incorporating drone film, heritage images of the village, and personal memories from residents and community organisations.
We are inviting memories or comments – from our residents, no matter how long or short, resident in Carbrooke, from those who have lived here in the past, attended the school, church or village hall events, dog walkers on the Millennium Green or village ramblers. We hope the film will be ready for a public showing in November to mark the anniversary of the Heritage Centre launch.https://www.nimblenorfolk.co.uk/
