1861: Elulua Bathgate (Headmistress) aged 25 Born in Lancashire possibly Blackpool (or Liverpool?),  strangely a mark has been put in the Blind/Deaf & Dumb column! Living with William Whidby as joint ‘Head of Household’

1861: Harriett Mays (Pupil Teacher) aged 15. A boarder living with William Whidby, born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

1939-45: Mary Norton
